Here is a topic in which Pornstars share with you their own vision of the Pornographic Cinema. This week, for the first time, a male pornstar answer our questions and permet us to speak about porn with "testosteroned" side ! Here's Kurt Lockwood !
"Sometimes producers won't even list the male performers..."
Is there a particular movie that gave you want to do porn ?
What do you think are the key ingredients to the success of a porn movie?
A successful porn scene, for me, has to have attractive people with good bodies, who are more natural looking than not. Genuine heat between the two performers. Real lust. No fake moans. It has to be sweaty, the girls have to act like they are more into fucking than getting their hair and make up messed up. I don't like when girls look into the camera during the sex because it disconnects them from each other and takes away from the heat of the scene, for me. And finally the girl has to really be wanting the pop shot and not running away from it.
What kind of porn movies do you like to watch most?
I like to watch group sex porn, swinger stuff where partners switch. I have to watch a lot of amateur or European stuff because I know all the American performers and it doesn't get me off as much to watch people I know, I prefer the kink of watching strangers.
How do you prepare for a shooting?
I prepare for shooting by getting lots of rest, working out religiously including lots of high intensity cardio and weight training. I keep a mostly gluten-free, nonfat, no red meat and very little dairy to stay trim. Other than that you just hope there is chemistry between you and the girl.
Are you fucking in front of cam like in life?
What is the movie of your own filmography which you are most proud of?
"THE REAL BOOGIE NIGHTS" was a movie I directed and started in. That parodied the Hollywood Movie. That was very autobiographical and very close to my heart and it has amazingly hot sex scenes in it.
How do you do for fucking everyday without being tired of that?
Who could ever get sick of fucking gorgeous women? It's like pizza, even when it's bad it's still pretty good!
Do you think that directors and producers think enough to women when they make movies ?
Well, I have a lot of female fans who say they wish they wouldn't cut us guys out of the frame so much. The producing end of porn is still very much a male dominated side of the business and they are very reluctant to accept that there is a consumer base buying the vids not just for the girls but also for us guys. I never understood because sometimes producers won't even list the male performers... And that seems counterintuitive to me from a sales and marketing perspective.
Do you consider pornographic cinema as an art?
Porn can be an art. There is definitely a skill in being a male performer, I liken it to leading a girl through a dance. As much as dancers are artists, sure we are, too. We are extreme erotic dancers.

"J'ai construit mon image sur ma propre personnalité !"
Je ne suis pas consommatrice de porno, mais ado j'en regardais de temps en temps. Sinon, c'est un peu classique mais c'était Emmanuelle ! C'est une manière très poétique et sexy de voir la femme et toutes les facettes qu'elle peut revêtir !
Un
bon scénario est important mais pas seulement. C'est l'ambiance générale
qui prime, la montée du désir à travers le film et surtout une bonne
lumière, une bonne musique et des acteurs à fond ! Y'a pas de secrets : une
bonne équipe de cinéma, des vrais pros et du matos !
Quel genre de film aimes-tu regarder particulièrement ?
Les films d'horreur, en plus ça m'excite les bons vieux
films d'horreur avec des meufs, des méchants bien trash et de la bonne
musique rock !
As-tu déjà été choquée en voyant un film X ?
Oui, tout ce qui est infligé où la personne pleure et ne supporte plus ça me fait mal. Tout comme ce qui concerne les pratiques hyper extrêmes comme la scato...
T'inspires-tu d'autres actrices pour ton propre travail ?
Non, je suis fan de Nina Roberts mais j'ai construit mon image sur ma propre personnalité !
Quelle star du Cinéma traditionnel aimerais-tu le plus convaincre de tourner dans un film porno ?
Hahaha ! Aucune, ce serait triste de voir tout et qu'elle détruise sa carrière et
son image même si je fantasme sur Monica Bellucci !
Regardes-tu tes propre films ? T'arrive t'il de te masturber devant ?
Non, pas du tout. Et les seules fois où j'ai vu mes films en projection, comme "Montre-moi du rose" de John B Root, être entres
collègues et se voir sur grand écran ça nous fait marrer plus
qu'autre chose !
Quel est le film de ta propre
filmographie dont tu es la plus fière ?
Haaa pas facile ! J'ai adoré "Bourgeoisie dévoyée" de Christian Lavil, mais je suis bien plus
fière d'avoir eu le premier rôle dans un film traditionnel! C'est "L'eau
douce qui coule dans mes veines" de Maxime Kermagoret, je vous le
conseille!
Aimes-tu t'imaginer des scénarios de
films X ?
Oui, je suis très
imaginative et j'aime les scénarios en général. En tout cas, si une
production est opérationnelle, j'ai des tas d'idées pour des films
tant érotiques que traditionnels !
Penses-tu que les réalisateurs ou producteurs de films X pensent suffisamment au public féminin quand ils font leurs films ? Et si non, qu'est-ce qui pourrait être fait pour changer cela d'après toi ?
C'est
le problème : on pense au principal consommateur, c'est-à-dire le mec. Mais il ne faut pas oublier que de plus en plus de femmes commencent à
s'y intéresser et que des couples se mettent à regarder du porno ensemble ! Il serait
intéressant de s'attarder sur les hommes, sur les scénarios aussi et sur
la mise en situation, qu'elle soit plus crédible !
Considères-tu le Cinéma
pornographique comme un art ?
Tout type de
cinéma est un art, après c'est comme tous les arts : certains en font un
business, d'autres sont de vrais artistes... Pour moi, ce qui fait l'art
c'est la manière d'aborder le sujet !

"Les studios aiment que les femmes réalisent"
Un film en particulier t'a t-il donné envie de faire du porno ?
Je pensais que le Porno craignait un peu avant de voir un film de Belladonna. Elle semblait être quelqu'un à qui je pouvais m'identifier, qui ne ressemblait pas à une "Porn Monster", vous voyez : blondasse et seins énormes. Quand je l'ai vu, je me suis dit que le porno devait être plutôt cool si une fille comme elle en faisait.
Quels sont pour toi les ingrédients essentiel à la réussite d'un film X ?
Allez chercher l'inspiration ailleurs que dans la pornographie. J'adore la photographie et je m'inspire beaucoup de mes autres centres d'intérêts. Vous devez aussi travailler dur et respecter la santé et la sécurité de vos partenaires.
Quel genre de film aimes-tu regarder particulièrement ?
J'aime regarder des films de transsexuelles et interraciaux pour me détendre.
As-tu déjà été choquée en voyant un film X ?
Avec quelques trucs de bondage.
Quelle star du Cinéma traditionnel aimerais-tu le plus convaincre de tourner dans un film porno ?
Ryan Hurst de Sons of Anarchy

Je l'ai fais une fois, devant une scène entre Bobbi Starr et moi.

Je dois le faire constamment pour la réalisation.
Penses-tu que les réalisateurs ou producteurs de films X pensent suffisamment au public féminin quand ils font leurs films ?
Je réalise des films depuis 2007 et je connais plein de réalisatrices qui ont eu du succès. Les studios aiment que les femmes réalisent.
Considères-tu le Cinéma pornographique comme un art ?
J'essaie de faire quelque chose de soigné à chaque fois que je réalise un film. Je ne peux pas dire la même chose de tous les réalisateurs. Mais il y en a qui s'appliquent pour faire un beau produit.

Is there a particular movie that gave
you want to do porn?
I
thought porn was pretty cheesy until I saw a picture of Belladonna. She
looked like someone I could relate too. Who didn't look like a "Porn
Monster" you know: huge tits and big blonde hair. When I saw here I
thought to myself, porn has to be pretty cool if a girl that looks like
that does it.
What do you think are the key
ingredients to the success of a porn movie?
Gathering
inspiration from things other than pornography. For me, I love
photography and I get a lot of inspiration from my other interests, you
also have to work very hard and respect the health and safety of your
peers.
What kind of porn movies do you like to
watch most?
I like tranny porn and interracial to get off.
Have you ever been shocked by seeing a
porn movie?
Some bondage stuff.
Which star of traditional Cinema would
you convince to make a porn movie?
Ryan Hurst from Sons of Anarchy
Do you watch your own movies and do

I've directed movies since 2007 and I know plenty of successful female directors. Companies love female directors.
Do you consider pornographic cinema as an art?
I
try to make something of value every time I direct a movie. I can't say
the same for other directors. I work for a lot of the time. But some
directors also care about making a beautiful product.
